Join us for a series of events focused on the COVID-19 pandemic. We will be joined by a variety of experts to discuss the pandemic through the lenses of health, social work, and economics.

Social Work

September 23rd • 11:00 a.m. • Jackie Durham

Jackie Durham is a NJ Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 32 years of experience. She has extensive experience as an administrator, supervisor, program developer, therapist, case manager, fundraiser, and researcher in the field of social work. A graduate of Rutgers University’s master’s in social work program, she has over 32 years of practice experience with clients in diverse settings. Ms. Durham specializes in areas related to mental health and environmental obstacles in relation to mental health. Jackie’s research emphasizes areas related to culture and ethnicity. She has presented at a number of national and international conferences in the field of social work practice and diversity. Recently, she was invited as part of an international team of researchers to participate in several symposiums in Havana, Cuba. An active member of the NJ National Association of Social Workers, she has been recognized as a national and state leader in areas related to mental health advocacy.

This event will be moderated by Dr. Margaret Maghan (Lecturer II Psychology.)
