Important Registration and Records Information!

Student Sitting On Campus Bench
The Registration and Records Department is pleased to announce that students can authorize access to specific information on their education records online through Self-Service Proxy Access via Ocean Connect. See Details.>>

Under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), parents do not have access to their student’s education record unless the student provides written consent. In an effort to meet the needs of Ocean County College students and parents, the Registration and Records Department is pleased to announce that students can authorize access to specific information on their education record online through Self-Service Proxy Access via Ocean Connect.

Students can choose to authorize different levels of view only access to one or multiple third-party individuals (proxies). Options include access to view Financial Aid, account information, grades, etc. The student controls who has access, what they can see, and for how long they have this access.

For more information and instructions for setting up proxy access, visit: go.ocean.edu/FERPA

For information on FERPA or questions about setting up Proxy access, please contact the Registration and Records Department at 732-255-0304 or registrar@ocean.edu.
