Learn how you can help restore state funding to Community Colleges >

As you may know from following state news, the New Jersey State Legislature is currently debating the Governor’s proposed State Budget. Unfortunately, the Governor’s proposed budget lacks the necessary investment in Community Colleges. If this budget is approved based on the Governor’s proposal, Community Colleges (including our own) will lose $25 million in state funding for the next fiscal year.

However, intense education and lobbying efforts to fund the colleges at pre-pandemic levels have made progress. We are asking students, alumni, staff, and community members to use the link below to send a message to the Legislators who represent our county. Although many Legislative Members have been supportive, it is important they all hear from US … those impacted most by the proposed state budget cuts.

Sending a message will only take a couple of minutes of your time and could have a significant impact on the outcome. By clicking on the link below and completing a simple form, an email message will automatically be sent to State Legislators. It takes just a couple of minutes!
